Junior Red Cross Society
The
Junior Red Cross Society is the School Children's branch of the Red Cross Organization.
The aims of the society are
(a) Promotion of health, personal hygiene, school hygiene and community
hygiene. (b) Service to others especially in relation to health. (c) Promotion
of fellowship among, and friendly helpfulness towards, other young people of
all countries. A unit of JRC started in
1995 and every year new students joins in the group. Now there is 20 students in the group.

The Kerala Catholic Students League is a training forum for Catholic
Students in Schools. Inspired formation of its members as faithful
christians and loyal citizens under the patronage of the Catholic
Bishop’s Conference. It functions under the education commission of the
KCBC and the CBCI. Although the membership is restricted to catolics,
its services are extended to all irrespective of caste and creed, and
its cooperates with all men of good will.

DCL (Deepika Children’s League) is a registered
organization for school children aiming at their integral growth in
social, cultural and religious fields. It provides a lot of
opportunities for the young generation. DCL was born out of the vision
of Rev. Fr. Abel CMI, the founder of KALABHAVAN, the famous art education institute in Kochi, Kerala. DCL started in the school in 2009.
Jesus Youth
(A missionary Movement at the service of the Church)
Jesus Youth is an
international catholic youth movement with a charismatic spirituality. The
strength of the movement is its special focus on a Jesus centered life. A unit
of Jesus Youth started in 2008 in the school. Now there is above 100 students
in the unit. Once in a week they gather together for prayer and group meeting.
Smt. Mercy Aprem is the guide and the animator of the group.
Souhrida Club
(………a harmony of care and concern)
Adolescent counseling and
Health Care Programme is a unique, novel and innovative programme
conceived and launched by the Department of Higher Secondary Education. This
programme is implemented in schools through Souhrida Clubs. A teacher
who is selected as Co-ordinator of the club has been given training for conducting the activities of the club.
Principal is the Chairman of the club and a trained teacher ( Co-ordinator)is
the Convener. PTA President, Staff
Secretary of Higher Secondary Two teachers nominated by the Principal and Class
convenors are members of the Souhrida vedi.
Souhrida vedi will work as the executive committee of the Souhrida
Clubs. Souhrida Vedi should be convened in every third Saturday of the month.
Smt. Sobhana Jose is Convener of the club.
